A winter storm hit Ontario and Quebec for a second time in just four days, bringing warnings of dangerous travel conditions. Roughly 25 to 30 cm of snow fell in the Greater Toronto area while Montreal and Quebec City were expected to receive 30 to 50 cm and areas to the east of those cities were looking at as much as 70 cm. As the storm moves east, Central and northern New Brunswick were expected to get more than 35 cm of snow, with freezing rain in Nova Scotia. (Feb. 16, 2025)
