BIBLE HILL, N.S. - Nova Scotia RCMP announced today they are investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found last week in Bible Hill.

Colchester County District RCMP responded to a request for a well-being check at a home at around 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

They found a deceased 42-year-old woman inside, as well as an unconscious man who was taken to hospital.

The investigation is being led by the RCMP's major crime unit in the region and police say there is no evidence to suggest a risk to the public.

Nova Scotia Mounties launched another investigation Sunday into two suspicious deaths at a home in Mahone Bay, where they discovered the remains of two adults who were known to each other.

An RCMP spokesperson says that investigation is ongoing and offered no further details.
