RCMP in P.E.I. say 32-year-old man faces charges following stabbing

LENNOX ISLAND, P.E.I. - RCMP in Prince Edward Island say a 32-year-old man is facing charges following a stabbing in Lennox Island.

Police say they responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in the community on Friday.

The victim was taken to hospital with what the Mounties say were non-life threatening injuries.

An unidentified Prince County man was later arrested.

The suspect was scheduled to appear in court Saturday.

Police say he faces charges of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
