TORONTO - Canada Goose Holdings Inc. reported its third-quarter profit rose compared with a year ago as its revenue edged lower.
The luxury parka maker says its profit attributable to shareholders amounted to $139.7 million or $1.42 per diluted share for the quarter ended Dec. 29.
The result compared with a profit of $130.6 million or $1.29 per diluted share a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter totalled $607.9 million, down from $609.9 million.
On an adjusted basis, Canada Goose says it earned $1.51 per diluted share in its latest quarter, up from an adjusted profit of $1.37 per diluted share a year earlier.
In its outlook, the company said it now expects low single-digit percentage to no growth for its adjusted profit per share for the year. Earlier expectations had been for a mid single-digit percentage increase.
