Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared on U.S. late-night television show "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Monday night. Colbert implied that he thinks both former American president and current Republican nominee Donald Trump and Conservative Party Leader Poilievre are "far-right," but he didn't say they are fascists.
A , formerly known as Twitter, said Stephen Colbert used the "F WORD" to describe Poilievre on CBS television Monday night.
A photo of Colbert was attached to the post with a quote saying: "Pierre Poilievre is a FASCIST, who hates DEMOCRACY - like TRUMP."
The post has more than 244,000 views and 4,800 likes as of Friday afternoon.

posted on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" YouTube page shows that Colbert asked Trudeau about the rise of the far right around the world, and added that Conservative Party Leader Poilievre has been described as Canada's Trump.
However, Colbert didn't say that Poilievre is a "fascist."
"The far right and flirtations with fascism, at the very least, is rising across the globe," Colbert said to Trudeau. "Even in Canada, your Conservative Party leader, your opponent there, has been called Canada's Trump."
Colbert went on to ask Trudeau about his views on the issue, but he didn't mention Poilievre again and didn't say the Tory leader hates democracy.
"I'm curious why at least some form of nativism or far-right xenophobia might grow in a country even as polite as Canada. Why do you think this is getting a foothold, even in your country?" Colbert asked.
